Job summary
Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Night Shift TEM Engineer in Singapore to support TEM analysis and FIB-based sample preparation for new technology development in the YE Lab within Technology Development.
The role focuses on operating FIB and TEM systems, preparing high-quality TEM samples, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on process improvements. You will work a permanent night shift and contribute to advancing materials science and semiconductor device research while following
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Materials Science, Physics, or related field.
- Comfortable working permanent night shift.
- Strong background in materials science, physics or chemistry.
- Experience in FIB and TEM operation preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily FIB and TEM operations to support new technology development in YE lab.
- Prepare high quality TEM samples using FIB.
- Innovate FIB techniques to meet customer needs.
- Develop solutions to improve sample preparation efficiency.
- Provide detailed handoffs to the next shift for smooth transitions.
- Follow AI-enabled lab procedures and maintain safety commitments.
