Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore seeks a Diploma holder to support TEM/FIB based failure analysis in a night‑shift role. You will perform TEM analysis, prep, and FIB milling, ensuring high‑quality results while coordinating with shift teams and QA to meet urgent requests.

You will also handle pre‑FIB sample prep tasks, operate FIB systems for lamella preparation, and perform TEM imaging with EDX analysis as required. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and cross‑shift collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Microelectronics.
• Willing to work in a 12‑hour night‑shift pattern.
• Fast learning and good hands‑on capability.
• Hands‑on experience on FIB for TEM sample preparation preferred.
• Basic knowledge in semiconductor field.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, team workers, independent and self‑disciplined.

Responsibilities

• Perform TEM analysis and TEM sample preparation using FIB to support failure analysis.
• Operate FIB systems to mill, thin, and prepare lamella for TEM.
• Conduct TEM profiling and imaging including EDX analysis as needed.
• Pre‑FIB sample preparation: wafer cleaving, optical inspection, coating, delayering.
• Ensure samples meet quality, cleanliness and thickness requirements for TEM imaging.
• Support urgent requests and ensure smooth handover across shifts while following SOPs.
