Job summary

SOON XING ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to assemble and install mechanical systems across various industries. You will read and interpret engineering diagrams, design jigs and moulds, and participate in cost estimation for projects.

The role involves testing, repairs, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards at our Jurong West facility, with shifts including weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience reading engineering designs, plans and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install mechanical systems for industrial, electromedical and manufacturing purposes.
• Design manufacturing implements such as jigs, dies and moulds.
• Prepare cost and material estimates for a project.
• Test and analyze machines to assess performance and reliability.
• Carry out inspections to identify faults and initiate repairs.

Assemble and install mechanical systems for industrial,electromedical, and manufacturing purposes Implement cost-effective changes inequipment design to improve reliability and safety

Assist mechanical engineers in developing, building andmaintaining machines and tools

Read and interpret engineering designs, plans, and diagramsfor piping, transmission, and HVAC systems Prepare cost and material estimatesfor a project

Test and analyze machines, tools, and components todetermine their performance, strength and response to stress

Design manufacturing implements such as jigs, dies, andmoulds

Carry out inspections to identify faults and initiate repairof mechanical systems or products

Monitor mechanical processes to ensure conformance tostandard project procedures Use

CAD software and technology to prepare drawing plans anddesign for an engineering project

Assemble components or machine parts to form integral orcomplete product unit

Provide technical solutions to mechanical problems found ina variety of industries

Develop and design prototypes of equipment

Ensure compliance with health/safety procedures andregulations

Implement quality control systems useful in evaluating andtesting mechanical processes/product for consistency.

Liase with various departments to completed the job.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering Mechanical

Working Location : Jurong West

Working days : Monday - Friday (5 Days)

Working Time : 7:30am - 5:15pm

Shift Work required ( Rotation work at Saturday &Sunday)
