Job summary

RB Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Civil Engineer with strong experience in underground utility and road works to manage and supervise night shift site operations in Singapore.

You will plan, coordinate, supervise, ensure safety compliance, and liaise with statutory authorities to complete works safely and efficiently. The role requires Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering with 2–5 years of relevant experience, familiarity with MOS/RA/PTW/TMP, and knowledge of WSH regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in underground utility or road works.
• Proven experience handling night shift construction works.
• Familiar with Singapore authority requirements (LTA, PUB, SP Group, NEA).
• Knowledge of MOS, RA, PTW, TMP, and site safety procedures.
• Strong understanding of WSH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan night shift underground utility works in line with approved construction schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and utility agencies.
• Review drawings, MOS, RA, TMP and ensure work aligns with specs.
• Supervise excavation, trenching, diversion/installation, backfilling and reinstatement.
• Ensure works follow drawings, specs, and method statements; monitor progress.
• Coordinate utility diversion, protection, and shutdown activities.
• Prepare daily night shift reports and maintain site records.
• Supervise site supervisors, foremen, and workers; manage manpower and equipment.
• Coordinate testing of installed utilities and assist in final inspections.
