Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is hiring a Calibration Technician to perform calibration and performance checks on laboratory equipment within a laboratory setting. The role supports maintenance and troubleshooting while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to SOPs.

The ideal candidate has an ITE certificate or Diploma in science-related or technical fields, with an interest in hands-on laboratory work and a detail-oriented approach to documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Science-related or relevant technical fields
• Candidates with relevant technical experience are welcome to apply
• Strong interest in technical, laboratory or engineering-related work
• Detail-oriented with good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to follow technical procedures and documentation accurately

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and performance checks on laboratory equipment such as balances, pipettes, spectrophotometers and chromatography systems
• Carry out preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Diagnose equipment issues and assist with repairs or replacement of parts
• Maintain accurate calibration records, reports and certificates
• Follow SOPs and ISO requirements
• Monitor spare parts and assist with inventory and purchase orders
• Liaise with external service providers when required
