Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a Calibration Technician to gain practical experience in calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting within a laboratory environment. The role is ideal for candidates with a science or technical background who want to build hands-on skills and industry knowledge.

The position focuses on performing calibration, maintenance and record-keeping in accordance with SOPs and ISO standards, with opportunities to liaise with external service providers as needed.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in Science-related or relevant technical fields.
• Interest in technical, laboratory or engineering-related work.
• Ability to follow technical procedures and documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and performance checks on laboratory equipment (balances, pipettes, spectrophotometers, chromatography systems).
• Carry out preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Diagnose equipment issues and assist with repairs or parts replacement.
• Maintain calibration records, reports and certificates.
• Follow SOPs and ISO requirements.
• Monitor spare parts and assist with inventory and purchase orders.
• Liaise with external service providers when required.
