Network Transition Architect – SD-WAN & MSP Deployments

Job summary

Singtel is seeking an experienced Network Transition Engineer in Singapore to plan and coordinate end-to-end technical transitions for managed network services, including SD-WAN deployments.

You will participate in architecture discussions, develop LLDs, and prepare extensive technical documentation. The role requires strong troubleshooting, leadership, and vendor coordination across hubs and data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics/Telecommunications or related field.
• Minimum CCNP certification or equivalent with enterprise LAN/WAN and managed network services knowledge.
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering, implementation, or managed network services.
• Hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting SD-WAN solutions (Cisco/Aruba/VMware).
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, MPLS) and SD-WAN overlays.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate end-to-end technical transition activities with presales, project, engineering, operations, vendors, and customer teams.
• Develop Low-Level Design documents for network solutions including SD-WAN.
• Prepare technical documentation such as LLDs, UAT plans, migration/rollback plans, and runbooks.
• Lead lab testing, PoC validation, and pilot deployments ensuring readiness match requirements.
• Provide technical guidance for installation and configuration at hubs and data centers.
• Troubleshoot and escalate deployment issues with vendors and engineering teams.
• Plan migration, cutover, rollback, and service validation to minimize disruption.
• Identify and manage technical issues and risks throughout transition.
• Coordinate service acceptance and handover to Operations/BAU with documented requirements.
