Job summary

ASEANet Manpower Consulting is seeking a Networking Engineer for its client to research and evaluate technology, evaluate and configure network equipment, and support sales with network designs in Singapore.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field and minimum 2 years of networking experience, with strong LAN/WAN, security, and troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with routers, switches, servers and NAS/SAN equipment.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant networking experience.
Good knowledge of LAN/WAN, network security, hardware and software.
Experience in setting up, testing and deploying routers and switches.
Knowledge of servers, NAS, SAN and other IT equipment.
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Research and evaluate technology to enhance existing product solutions.
Evaluate, test and configure network equipment.
Support Sales in tender proposals and network design/configuration.
Work with Project Engineers on installation and configuration of IP cameras, servers, SAN/NAS, switches, routers and other network equipment.
Assist Service Engineers in troubleshooting network hardware and software issues.
Manage office network and system administration.
Provide technical support and implement basic cybersecurity measures.
