Job summary

HR Focus in Singapore is seeking a technically competent Engineer to handle presales and implementation services for network, systems and security solutions, including government infrastructure projects. You will provide presales support, deploy services, assist tender submissions with technical proposals and PoC tests, and evaluate new products to enhance offerings.

Candidates should have a Diploma and at least 5 years of hands-on experience, with CCNA preferred and eligibility for CAT 1

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant field is required.
• 5+ years of hands-on pre- and post-sales experience in networks, systems and security.
• Solid networking fundamentals; CCNA preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and set up independently; eligible for CAT 1 security clearance; SG Citizens.

Responsibilities

• Provide Presales support on networks, NTP, systems, and security applications.
• Provide technical support and deployment services for networks, systems and security solutions.
• Support tender submissions, including technical compliance, proposals, and PoC testing based on BOM.
• Evaluate and test new products and technologies to enhance offerings.
• Troubleshoot reported system issues and coordinate with vendors until resolution.

Our client, an established networking & cybersecurity solutions distributor, is looking for a technically competent Engineer to handle presales and implementation services for network, systems and security solutions, including government infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

• Provide Presales support on solutions including networks, NTP, systems, and security applications.
• Provide technical support and deployment services for networks, systems and security solutions.
• Provide technical support for tender submission, including technical compliance, technical solution proposal, and conducting Proof-of-Concept testing based on given bill of material.
• Evaluate and test new products and technologies to enhance company’s products and solutions offering.
• Troubleshoot reported system issues and follow up with technology vendors till resolution.

What You'll Need

• Min Diploma in relevant field
• Min 5 years' hands-on experience in pre-and post-sales support for network, system and security applications, including: Microsoft AD/DNS/DHCP/LDAP/RADIUS & AAA, Microsoft Certificate Authority, Windows/Linux/UNIX environments
• Solid networking fundamentals (switching, routing); CCNA preferred
• Able to troubleshoot and set up independently
• This role supports government projects and requires eligibility for CAT 1 security clearance — applicants must be SG Citizens
