Job summary

E-Solutions Singapore is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our on-site team. The role focuses on L2 support, enterprise LAN/WAN operations, and proactive network optimization.

You will manage routing, switching, wireless, firewall platforms, and work with vendors to resolve complex issues while documenting standards and procedures for ongoing reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong TCP/IP knowledge, excellent communication, and a customer-facing mindset to deliver

Qualifications

• L2 network support experience for enterprise environments.
• LAN/WAN configuration and troubleshooting expertise.
• Firewall platforms experience (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, and QoS.

Responsibilities

• Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex network issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for enterprise network incidents, requests, and changes.

• Manage routing and switching infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Support and administer firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco Firepower.
• Manage wireless networks including Cisco, Aruba, or Meraki solutions.
• Monitor network performance and proactively address issues.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and configuration backups.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Switching (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, VxLAN preferred)
• Wireless (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki)
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, and QoS.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of network security best practices.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
