Job summary

ADECCO PERSONNEL PTE LTD is seeking a Network Support Engineer to join a dedicated 24x7 operations team supporting a highly available, mission-critical infrastructure environment. You will focus on ensuring system availability, incident response, preventive maintenance and robust operational support.

The role involves troubleshooting, software validation, and maintaining thorough documentation while adhering to defined service levels and ITSM processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT infrastructure or technical systems support.
• Experience with Windows/Linux, networking, firewalls, VMware/Hyper-V, Active Directory, UPS, PIM/PAM or hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ITSM, incident management and change management.
• Experience in a high-availability or mission-critical environment is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a 24x7 shift environment and responding to operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite spare parts, equipment inventory and asset/serviceability records.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance, calibration and technical support.
• Support root-cause investigations and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Participate in a 24x7 rotating shift and standby/on-call roster based on operational requirements.

Working Arrangement

The role follows a rotating schedule of 3 consecutive working days followed by 2 days off, then 2 working days followed by 3 days off, to support continuous operational coverage. Employees may also be required to participate in an on-call/standby roster, with requirements communicated based on project and operational needs.
