Job summary

DP World is seeking a General Manager, Network for its Marine Services unit to lead Southeast Asia and Oceania logistics network development and performance. You will drive growth, profitability and service efficiency across trade lanes, coordinating with commercial, operations and DP World teams.

The role requires strategic vision, strong P&L management and a track record in carrier relations, with experience serving multinational customers and complex freight solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, or Business.
• 12-15 years of experience in trade management, pricing, or carrier relations within logistics/shipping.
• Proven success in managing P&L for trade lanes and negotiating with carriers.
• Strong understanding of global shipping markets, freight indices, and trade lane dynamics.
• Experience in working with multinational customers, global tenders, and complex freight solutions.

Responsibilities

• Network strategy: Develop network strategies, trade lanes and transport solutions to improve competitiveness, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Team leadership: Lead and develop the network team through coaching, performance management and succession planning.
• Service delivery: Design customer-focused logistics solutions and work with cross-functional teams to resolve service, cost and equipment challenges.
• Network optimisation: Monitor market trends and network profitability, improving asset utilisation, equipment repositioning and operational efficiency.
• Commercial support: Partner with Commercial teams on customer solutions, pricing strategies and business development.
• Partner management: Manage logistics providers and align internal stakeholders, including relevant DP World teams, to support consistent service and continuous improvement.
