Job summary

Charterhouse Asia seeks an experienced Network Solutions Architect to lead enterprise network architecture and delivery across the APAC region. You will define standards, drive strategy, and ensure secure, resilient, scalable infrastructure that underpins business programs.

Collaborating with Engineering, Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams, you will provide technical leadership, governance, and mentorship while delivering regional projects focused on availability, DR, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• 10–15 years of experience in enterprise networking, including significant leadership.
• Experience with architecture governance, technical documentation, risk management and implementation planning.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the APAC network architecture roadmap, standards, and best practices.
• Design secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions across LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, data centres, cloud connectivity, Internet, wireless, and network security.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical design, solution assurance, and implementation planning for major infrastructure initiatives.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for availability, resilience, security, disaster recovery, operational support, and lifecycle management.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle from requirements gathering to handover.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and service providers to deliver regional infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Drive standardisation, automation, continuous improvement, and reduction of technical debt across the network.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Network Solutions Architect to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise network solutions across the APAC region. This role is responsible for defining network standards, driving technology strategy, and delivering secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure that supports business and digital transformation initiatives.

Working closely with Engineering, Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders, you will provide technical leadership across strategic projects while ensuring architecture, governance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

• Define and drive the APAC network architecture roadmap, standards, and best practices.
• Design secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions across LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, data centres, cloud connectivity, Internet, wireless, and network security.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical design, solution assurance, and implementation planning for major infrastructure initiatives.
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for availability, resilience, security, disaster recovery, operational support, and lifecycle management.

Project Delivery & Governance

• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, migration, testing, and operational handover.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, vendors, and service providers to deliver regional infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Drive standardisation, automation, continuous improvement, and reduction of technical debt across the network environment.

Stakeholder & Technical Leadership

• Partner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Application, and business teams to deliver strategic technology initiatives.
• Evaluate new technologies and vendor solutions to support long‑term architecture strategy.
• Mentor engineers and architects, contribute to architecture governance, and promote engineering best practices across the region.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of experience in enterprise networking, including significant experience in Network Solution Architecture, enterprise design, or technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in enterprise networking technologies, including Cisco routing and switching, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, wireless, data centre networking, and load balancing.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise security technologies such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ISE, F5, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience integrating enterprise networks with public cloud, SaaS, security, monitoring, automation, and ITSM platforms.
• Strong knowledge of architecture governance, technical documentation, solution design, risk management, and implementation planning.
• Proven experience leading regional infrastructure projects and collaborating with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or another highly regulated environment is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, ITIL, cloud networking, or security certifications will be an advantage.
