SCOPE OF WORK

Scope of activities :

Job Summary

The Network Security Engineers objective is to support network security devices operation maintenance and implementation in different regions. As a member of this team you must be available for after-hours critical escalations and project work.

Job Description

• Supporting firewall gateway and large scale of firewall management (Checkpoint Juniper Cisco Nokia)
• Operation maintenance and troubleshooting of network security devices
• Handling change process incidents and reports.
• Working knowledge of VPN settings behaviour and troubleshooting (non-vendor specific)
• Knowledge of TCP / IP protocols and behaviours through a network and specific devices (primarily firewalls) and OSI model (what occurs at each layer and what devices operate at each layer)
• Knowledge of IPS (Juniper Tipping point)

Qualified candidates MUST possess the following

• Bachelors degree in IT or computing or equivalent in education or experience required.
• 2-3 years of firewall administrator experience with technical knowledge of firewall appliances. (Nokia Checkpoint Solaris)
• 2 -3 years of hands on experience configuring troubleshooting and maintaining firewalls IPS and VPN appliances.
• 2 -3 years implementing and troubleshooting site-to-site VPNs (IPSeC etc.) and ability to explain hashing and encryption schemas.
• Must have Check Point Firewall experience - architecture support installation maintenance and monitoring is required.
• Expert TCP / IP packet analysis using Wireshark or raw packet captures utilizing tcpdump utility.
• At least one major industry-related certification (CCSA CCSE) preferred.
• Excellent documentation communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to efficiently prioritize and organize competing work demands with little oversight.
• Able to travel overseas and standby (24x7) for technical issues.
• Able to work and support as a team for network project.
