Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Alcatel, Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet technologies.
• Experience in LAN/WAN and network security implementation and troubleshooting.
• CCNA/CCNP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide deployment and implementation support for Enterprise IT Network Services.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Technical Lead to meet timelines and requirements.
• Install, configure, integrate, implement, migrate and validate network and security solutions.
• Configure, implement and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/WLAN environments.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, firewall and performance-related issues.
• Prepare and update technical documentation including network diagrams and procedures.
• Develop test cases and conduct testing for new hardware/software before deployment.
• Raise TAC/support cases with vendors until resolution.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide project deployment and implementation support for customers’ Enterprise IT Network Services.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and Technical Lead to fulfil project deliverables, timelines and technical requirements.
• Perform hands-on installation, configuration, integration, implementation, migration and validation of network and security solutions.
• Configure, implement and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/WLAN environments.
• Perform hands-on implementation and support involving:Cisco routers and switchesAlcatel network switchesCheck Point firewallsPalo Alto firewallsFortinet / FortiGate firewalls
• Support network security solutions and security appliances.
• Perform firewall policy/rule configuration, troubleshooting and implementation activities.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, firewall and performance-related issues.
• Support network monitoring and network appliances where required, including SolarWinds, F5 LTM/GTM and related technologies.
• Support infrastructure migration and upgrade activities.
• Prepare and update technical documentation including network diagrams, installation procedures, implementation plans, support documents and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Develop test cases and conduct testing / proof-of-concept activities for new hardware and software before deployment.
• Perform post-implementation testing and validation.
• Raise and follow up TAC/support cases with principal vendors for complex technical issues until resolution.
• Support after-office-hours implementation and scheduled maintenance activities when required.

Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Cisco, Alcatel, Check Point, Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies.
• Practical experience in implementation and troubleshooting of LAN, WAN and network security infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and switches, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with enterprise firewall configuration, deployment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of network routing, switching, VLAN, TCP/IP and network security concepts.
• Experience with F5, Aruba, Cisco ISE, SolarWinds or A10 will be an advantage.
• Cloud infrastructure/networking exposure will be an advantage.
• Cisco certification such as CCNA / CCNP is preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good technical documentation and communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
• Able to work flexible hours, especially during scheduled after-office-hours maintenance windows.
