• Experience with network security tech, firewalls, VPNs, SSE/SASE.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Network Manager to lead and oversee the Bank’s enterprise network infrastructure. The role is responsible for ensuring high availability, robust security, and full compliance with regulatory requirements, while managing end-to-end delivery across network design, project implementation, operations, and continuous improvement.

The incumbent will lead the enterprise network function, managing both datacenter and hybrid cloud environments, and driving strategic initiatives to support mission‑critical financial systems within a highly regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Enterprise network and firewall team, fostering a high-performance and accountable culture
• Oversee end-to-end network service delivery, including LAN, WAN, Datacenter, Cloud, Wireless and internet connectivity
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient network architectures across on-premise and cloud environments
• Ensure network availability, performance, and capacity planning to meet SLA and business requirements
• Lead incident, problem, and change management, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Infrastructure, Security, Applications, Compliance, Cloud teams) to deliver integrated solutions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards
• Manage vendors, service providers, and commercial engagements in partnership with procurement teams
• Drive automation and process optimization (e.g. scripting, infrastructure as code) to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering, with proven leadership experience
• Strong expertise in datacenter, enterprise, and hybrid cloud networking environments
• Solid hands‑on knowledge of routing, switching, and datacenter technologies (e.g. Cisco ACI, SD‑WAN)
• Experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, WAFs (e.g. Check Point, Palo Alto, F5) , VPNs and SASE/SSE
• Strong experience in financial services or similarly regulated industries, with good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Proven team leadership and vendor management experience
• Exposure to network automation (e.g. Python, Ansible, Terraform) is preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders

Certifications

• Professional-level network certification required (e.g. CCNP or equivalent)
• Expert-level certification (e.g. CCIE) is highly preferred
• Cloud certifications (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP) are advantageous
• Security certifications (e.g. Check Point CCSA/CCSE) are a plus
