Job summary

Singtel is seeking a Network Engineer to lead design validation and cross-vendor provisioning for telecom infrastructure. You will monitor resources, plan changes, and ensure timely execution of service upgrades while coordinating with stakeholders to prevent outages.

The role requires 2–5 years in telecom, a related engineering degree, and strong IP network knowledge including LAN/WAN concepts and OSFP/BGP dynamics. The position is based in Singapore with on-site duties.

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering or related field required.
  • 2–5 years of telecom industry experience.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate network design for infrastructure and services with Engineering and vendors.
  • Coordinate resources for service integration and network consolidation projects; drive execution.
  • Monitor resources; plan and execute expansion, optimization, and upgrades.
  • Proactively prevent issues and coordinate with stakeholders for fast fault resolution and follow-ups.
  • Review MOPs for Change Requests to ensure smooth changes.
  • Analyze service impact for changes and outages; inform stakeholders.
  • Provide network health reports; analyze trends and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare budgets and track expenditures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
