Job summary

Singtel in Singapore is looking for a proactive network management professional to support the transformation of their Next Generation Carrier Ethernet Network. Your responsibilities include managing operational issues, monitoring and rectifying network faults, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or related fields, relevant experience with IP networks, and a commitment to working in a diverse team. Singtel offers a full suite of health benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Relevant working experience in design and operation of IP networks is an advantage.
• Experience with global service providers preferred.
• Willing to support on a 24x7 standby basis.

Responsibilities

• Support the transformation project for Next Generation Carrier Ethernet Network.
• Manage operation issues and elevate complex cases to vendors.
• Document all incidents and events through incident ticketing system.

Skills

Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering

Understanding of Internet routing protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP)

Analytical and troubleshooting skills

Knowledge in Cisco / Juniper / Huawei certifications

Education

Degree or diploma in relevant field

Tools
