Job summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking a Network Engineer for our Singapore location to design, specify and cost detailed network and infrastructure solutions that meet customer requirements. This role involves interfacing with customer engineers, other system designers and suppliers to define services and ensure compliant designs.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering, CCNA/CCNP/CCDA or equivalent certifications, and hands-on experience with SDH,

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications Engineering.
• Professional knowledge in detailed network design and implementations.
• Experience with SDH, MPLS, IP, Ethernet.
• Certifications CCNA/CCNP/CCDA or Huawei/Juniper credentials are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and cost detailed network and infrastructure solutions.
• Lead site testing and commissioning of the network.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and other system designers to define services and deliverables.
