Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in IT, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 4–5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer.
• CCNA or equivalent certification.
• Proficiency with Windows applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, FTP, TFTP).
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, VLANs, and HSRP.
• Experience with Fortigate, Palo Alto, and Check Point firewalls; F5 Load Balancer experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage core firewalls (Fortigate, Palo Alto, Check Point) and IDS/IPS systems.
• Configure site-to-site VPNs on FortiGate firewalls and manage HA setups.
• Set up WAN/LAN interfaces, NAT policies, and firewall rules for secure connectivity.
• Implement static and dynamic routing within firewalls.
• Configure and maintain routers and switches (CISCO, Alcatel, Juniper).
• Administer campus-wide network infrastructure for continuous connectivity.
• Perform firmware/OS upgrades on network devices for security and features.
• Analyze traffic patterns and troubleshoot network issues.
