AVENSYS CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure for secure, reliable, high‑performance connectivity.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with routing and switching, network security, and solving complex networking issues across data centers and cloud integrations. You will configure LAN/WAN/WLAN, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools, document configurations, participate in

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, routing, and switching technologies.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, subnetting, and IP addressing.
Experience with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
Knowledge of network security, VPNs, ACLs, and firewall configurations.
Experience using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and enterprise network infrastructure.
Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Manage routing and switching protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, and VPNs.
Monitor network performance, availability, and security using network monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Configure and maintain network security policies, access controls, firewall rules, and VPN connectivity.
Perform network upgrades, patching, configuration backups, and capacity planning.
Support data center networking, cloud networking, and network integration projects where required.
Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, system administration, and application teams to resolve technical issues.
Maintain network documentation, configuration records, diagrams, and incident reports.
Participate in incident management, change management, and disaster recovery activities.
Ensure network infrastructure complies with organizational security standards and operational requirements.
