Job summary

PERCEPT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Network Engineer specializing in Cisco SD-WAN to design, implement, and support enterprise networks across client environments.

The role emphasizes robust, scalable solutions with 24/7 on-call coverage, PoC deployments, and proactive maintenance. Strong expertise in SD-WAN, SASE, BGP/OSPF and firewall technologies is required, with on-site presence in Singapore preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in network engineering for mid- to large-scale enterprises.
• Expert level in routing, switching, firewalls, FTTH, SASE and SD-WAN.
• Hands-on Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) and Palo Alto Panorama in cloud/on‑prem environments.
• Strong knowledge of MPLS, BGP, and OSPF routing protocols.
• Experience with enterprise-grade firewalls and security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support for complex enterprise networks.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure network solutions.
• Troubleshoot critical incidents to minimize downtime.
• Lead high-priority network initiatives and PoC deployments.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to escalations.

• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
• Monitor network performance and implement improvements.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Network Engineer specializing in Cisco SD-WAN to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise network solutions, with a focus on delivering exceptional performance and reliability for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support for complex enterprise network environments.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions across diverse industry verticals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical network incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and uninterrupted business operations.
• Lead high-priority network initiatives, including technology refresh projects and Proof of Concept (PoC) deployments.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and respond to critical escalations.
• Perform proactive network maintenance, including upgrades, patches, and configuration of security controls.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analysis for existing and planned network infrastructures.
• Monitor and analyze network performance using industry-standard monitoring tools; recommend and implement performance enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, infrastructure, application) to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex network-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, reports, and presentations on network health, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations for continuous innovation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in network engineering within mid- to large-scale enterprise environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in routing, switching, firewalls, FTTH, SASE, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) and Palo Alto Panorama in both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Proficiency with MPLS technologies is highly desirable.
• Advanced expertise in deploying and troubleshooting BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Solid experience with enterprise-grade firewalls and security platforms.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering innovative, effective network solutions.
