Job summary

ACTIV TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. seeks a driven Network Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The role balances hands-on network infrastructure projects with day-to-day L1/L2 IT support for clients, leveraging Cisco and Fortinet gear, managing licenses, and engaging in regular client meetings to propose refreshes and improvements.

You will handle network design, troubleshooting, and documentation, and contribute to system administration, backup operations, and ongoing optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with enterprise networking gear and security devices.
• Ability to manage and document network topology and SOPs.
• Experience with L1/L2 IT support and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise networking hardware including Cisco switches/routers, APs, and FortiGate firewalls.
• Manage VLANs, routing, VPNs, firewall policies, and firmware upgrades.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Attend weekly status meetings with clients to review tickets, milestones, renewals.
• Perform Windows Server and Active Directory administration and backups.
• Assist with pre-sales proposals, BOMs, and scopes of work.
