Qualifications
- 2–8 years of network engineering experience.
- Maintain and troubleshoot LAN/WAN and Internet connections.
- Experience with security controls and backups.
- Scripting skills for shell or basic tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and administer LANs, WANs, and related networks.
- Evaluate and install hardware, networking software, operating system software and applications.
- Operate master consoles to monitor network performance and access.
- Provide problem-solving services to network users.
- Perform routine startup/shutdown and maintain control records.
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Conduct tests and security/quality controls.
- Perform shell scripting or other basic scripting tasks.
- May supervise other workers.
