Job summary

Google LLC in Singapore is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer, AutoCAD Drafter to lead deployment, maintenance, and operations of private data networks worldwide. You will collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Network Engineers, Design and Infrastructure Engineers, Field Engineers, and contractors to design spaces and generate CAD drawings for Google's data center spaces across the globe.

The role requires a background in network engineering, AutoCAD proficiency, and familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or Telecom Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience with networking protocols and troubleshooting.
• Experience with two or more of the following: server hardware and software, network hardware and software, data center infrastructure and operations, or mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience with AutoCAD, managing projects in data center construction or commercial construction.
• Experience in the following: construction project management, electrical engineering, fiber OSP/ISP engineering and large-scale project management.
• Experience with LISP and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design spaces that meet needs along with maintaining flexibility for the future.
• Create LISP routines to automate and improve drafting efficiencies.
• Review proposals, costs, and submittals related to the build of the colocation spaces.
• Understand entry level electrical engineering concepts related to deployments in data centers.
