Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a naval architect or 10 years as a design engineer.
• Experience working for a well-known design company or shipyard.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hull, machinery and outfitting design reviews.
• Liaise with the designer and class.
• Keep all documents and drawings under strict control.
• Redesign GA, structural drawings, and accommodation layout plans.
• Review design documents according to new IMO regulations.

Job Description

Hull, machinery and outfitting design reviews and approvals. Liaise with the designer and class. Keep all documents & drawings under strict control.

• Redesign GA, structural drawings, system drawings, accommodation layout plans.
• Feasibility study for ROVs, TLQs, boat landing, AHC gangways and cargo arrangements
• Review design documents as per new IMO regulations and bring the necessary changes
• Verification of new building basic, detailed and production design and liaise with the designer and class.
• Order the hull, outfitting and machinery and other ancillaries as necessary for the project

• Naval architect for 5 years or as a design engineer with minimum experience of 10 years working for
  a well-known design company or a shipyard
• Proficient in using AutoCad & good computer skills
• Ability to perform ad-hoc tasks without supervision
