Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a NAND Product Development Team Engineer to lead end-to-end NAND technology development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate silicon advances into system-level SSD applications.

You will shape development strategies, integrate data-driven insights and AI-enabled methods, and partner with quality, fabrication, test, and supply chain to ensure timely delivery and competitive time-to-market.

Qualifications

• PhD, or Master’s degree with ≥3 years, or Bachelor’s with ≥5 years in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Good knowledge of NAND device/design and/or System firmware/design.
• Highly self-motivated with ability to work across a global cross-functional team.
• Growth mindset and strong complex problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Experience leading product development projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own NAND development schedules and drive cross-functional development teams.
• Direct NAND deliverables and sample delivery aligned with development timelines.
• Drive system-level integration of NAND tech with SSD and customer apps.
• Provide cross-functional leadership across Product Engineering, Supply Chain, Fab, and Test.
• Communicate priorities to maintain project schedules and participate in reviews.
• Lead development forums, plans, and changes to achieve NAND BIC execution.
• Build pre-silicon NAND development schedules and drive execution through qualification.
• Ensure NAND inputs/limitations support Build-at-Risk and parallel development.
• Lead cross-functional discussions, align stakeholders on program direction.
• Drive NAND capability readiness and data reviews toward customer qualification.
• Lead complex problem solving across NAND-system interactions.
• Use AI for tool creation, automation, and problem solving to accelerate development.
