Job summary

The Radiant Spectrum is a Singapore-based music enrichment studio that celebrates every learner’s unique rhythm. We’re growing and opening several roles, including part-time and full-time music teachers who can work weekends.

You’ll conduct individual sessions and small group lessons, plan weekly goals, and report progress to parents in a warm, inclusive environment. Ideal candidates have ABRSM Grade 5 or equivalent, enjoy teaching, and are patient and adaptable—especially with neurodivergent

Qualifications

• ABRSM Grade 5 (or equivalent) required.
• Experience teaching or sharing music with others.
• Patient, nurturing, and empathetic—especially with neurodivergent learners.
• Experience interacting with individuals with special needs (volunteering counts).
• Ability to communicate with children and parents.
• Cheerful, adaptable, and able to think outside the box.
• Able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual music enrichment sessions tailored to each student in line with the school’s teaching system.
• Conduct and facilitate lessons in small group settings.
• Prepare weekly lesson plans with goals aligned to the curriculum.
• Monitor, record, and update parents on student progress.
• Participate in yearly recitals.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Your Tune in Our Symphony

As a growing and dynamic team, we thrive on creativity, empathy, and flexibility. In this role, you’ll be:

• Conducting individual music enrichment sessions catered to each child in accordance to the school’s teaching system
• Conducting and facilitating lessons in small group settings
• Preparing weekly lesson plans through setting goals and aims for students in line with the school’s curriculum
• Monitoring, recording and updating Parents on each student's progress regularly
• Participating in yearly recitals
• Participating in ad-hoc duties as required

Who We’re Looking For

You don’t need to tick every box — but we seek individuals who will bring heart, passion, and the willingness to learn.

We’d love it if you:

• Have at least ABRSM Grade 5 or equivalent
• Enjoy teaching or sharing music with others
• Are patient, nurturing, and empathetic — especially with neuro divergent learners
• Have experience interacting with individuals with special needs (volunteering counts!)
• Communicate comfortably with both children and parents
• Are cheerful, adaptable, and not afraid to think outside the box
• Able to work both weekends

• Weekends: 9am to 7pm
• Weekdays : 10am to 7pm
• 5 days work week ( 42 hours a week)
• School is closed on Mondays Part time teachers are welcomed but need to commit to 1 weekday and 1 weekend
