Job summary

CL Education Pte Ltd is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join our team in Singapore. This full-time role focuses on early childhood music, nurturing young learners' creativity and love of music during their formative years.

You will plan and deliver age-appropriate music lessons, assess progress, collaborate with educators and families, and participate in school performances to showcase students' achievements.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualifications in music education or early childhood education with a music specialisation.
• Proven experience teaching music to young children in preschool, kindergarten or similar early childhood settings.
• Strong musical ability and proficiency with at least one instrument.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to the developmental stages and needs of young learners in the early childhood setting.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive musical environment that encourages exploration, creativity and self-expression.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods, including singing, movement, rhythm activities, instrument play and music appreciation to support learning outcomes.
• Assess and monitor individual children's musical development and progress, maintaining detailed records.
• Collaborate with other educators and parents to integrate music across the curriculum and reinforce learning at home.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a safe, positive learning atmosphere where all children feel confident to participate.
• Select and organise age-appropriate musical resources, instruments and materials.
• Participate in school performances, concerts and special events to showcase children's musical achievements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's musical development.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood music education.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicatedMusic Teacher to join our team at CL Education Pte Ltd. This is afull-time position based in theRedhill Central Region. As a Music Teacher specialising in early childhood education, you will play a vital role in nurturing young learners' musical abilities, creativity and love of music during their formative years. What we're looking for

4. Excellent knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies

5. Demonstrated ability to plan creative, engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons

6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

7. Patience, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for working with young learners

8. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment

9. Flexibility and adaptability in approach to meet diverse learning needs

10. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
