Job Description & Requirements
The services required include the following:
- Implementation and Conducting of New Media Literacy Programmes for Students
- Assist the Head of Department (HOD) / Subject Head (SH) of Information Communication & Technology (ICT) in planning and implementing New Media Literacy workshops for students.
- Conduct New Media Literacy workshops supported by teachers in the school’s Technology for Learning (TFL) committee.
- Work on areas such as photo editing, video editing, infographics design, etc.
- Collaborate with selected student groups to develop prototype applications for their Applied Learning Programme (ALP) projects.
- Train and supervise students in using the iMaker (maker space) room.
- Conduct training for / support students in their Student-Initiated Learning related to ICT / Multimedia.
Identify training needs and conduct training courses and workshops for school staff- Develop and customize training programmes with suitable learning materials based on staff needs.
- Support the school’s ICT programmes by advising staff on ICT tools and collaborating on ICT-integrated lessons.
Support for School Events & Multimedia Projects- Support deployment and use of Audio Visual (AV) equipment during school events.
- Coordinate and assist teachers in ICT-related events such as Internet Safer Week.
- Provide services for school functions related to ICT.
- Support multimedia projects like videos and microsites for publicity and training.
Support for School Audio Visual (AV) Equipment- Work with ICT staff on maintenance of AV equipment including projectors and visualizers.
- Assist teachers and staff with troubleshooting AV equipment.
- Train AIMs Club students on AV equipment use for school events and operations.
Collaboration with ICT Department Staff and Other Projects- Coordinate with ICT staff to ensure smooth operation of programmes and events.
- Perform other duties as instructed by HOD/SH (ICT).
