Job summary

NOVA Education invites freelance and part-time language teachers in Singapore to deliver structured lessons in Japanese, German, French, or Spanish to international school students from Grade 1 to 12. Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one of Japanese, German, French, or Spanish.
• Experience teaching international school students (Grades 1–12).
• Relevant teaching qualifications or language certifications.
• Patient, adaptable and professional teaching style.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Japanese, German, French, or Spanish lessons to international school students Grades 1–12.
• Design age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with proficiency and learning objectives.
• Create engaging materials, activities, exercises, and assessments to enhance language acquisition.
• Teach core language skills including speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation.
• Support students with school assignments and curriculum-based language learning as needed.
• Prepare older students for language assessments and exams.
• Develop conversational confidence and practical communication skills through interactive teaching.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing regular constructive feedback after each class.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment that motivates students.
• Collaborate with NOVA Education to ensure lesson content aligns with individual student goals.
