Job summary

RevUp Consulting is hiring an Execution Trader for its Singapore office. You will place and manage orders across Asian markets, collaborating with portfolio managers to translate decisions into efficient executions.

You will also step in for the Head of Trading, help run the global book, and review execution quality while researching ways to lower trading costs. Knowledge of Python and AI tools will be used to automate workflows.

Qualifications

• Min. two years in trading or execution at a hedge fund, multi-manager platform or comparable buy-side desk.
• Live trading experience in futures, FX or macro derivatives, beyond cash equities.
• Practical Python knowledge and ease using AI tools to write code.

Responsibilities

• Place and manage orders across Asian markets, with backup coverage for other regions
• Work with portfolio managers to turn their decisions into efficient executions
• Step in for the Head of Trading during leave and help run the global book
• Review execution quality, measure trading costs and research ways to lower them
• Help with funding, financing and cash positioning for the portfolio
• Write Python scripts and use AI-assisted coding to automate repetitive trading workflows and improve internal tools
• Share execution practices and suggest improvements across the firm’s global desks
