Job summary

Neurones IT Asia is seeking a MuleSoft Engineer for a client in Singapore. The role focuses on production support and development of MuleSoft APIs, leveraging Anypoint Platform and related tools.

You will act as a L2/L3 escalation point and drive permanent fixes, while monitoring API health and performance. The ideal candidate has 7+ years IT experience with hands-on MuleSoft development/support and strong knowledge of API security, SQL, and observability tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in IT with hands-on MuleSoft development/support experience (MuleSoft Certified Developer preferred)
• API-led connectivity and the Experience-Process-System layer model demonstration
• Strong troubleshooting and RCA skills in a production support environment
• Experience with API security policies (Client ID/Secret, OAuth, etc.)
• Working knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and database performance considerations
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Hawtio, Jolokia, Kibana, or equivalent)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery using JIRA

Responsibilities

• Act as L2/L3 escalation point for MuleSoft API incidents, performing RCA on unknown errors and driving permanent fixes
• Monitor API health and performance using MuleSoft-native tools and dashboards to proactively identify degradation
• Perform capacity planning and performance management for production API workloads
• Support administration of the API Management platform (Anypoint Platform), including environment configuration and access management
• Deploy APIs across environments (Dev - QA - Production) following release management best practices
• Maintain existing MuleSoft APIs, including bug fixes, minor enhancements, and error-handling improvements
• Apply understanding of MuleSoft's 3-tiered architecture when diagnosing issues or making changes

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor API health and performance using MuleSoft-native tools and dashboards (e.g., Anypoint Monitoring, Kibana) to proactively identify degradation before it impacts business
• Perform capacity planning and performance management for production API workloads
• Support administration of the API Management platform (Anypoint Platform), including environment configuration and access management
