Job summary

Google is seeking a Mosquito Biologist to join its interdisciplinary Debug team in Singapore. You will work alongside mosquito biologists, data scientists, and engineers to develop solutions aimed at reducing mosquito-borne diseases.

The ideal candidate should have a PhD in Entomology or Biological Sciences, along with 5 years of experience in insect biology, and proficiency in data analytics tools such as Google Sheets, R, and Python.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Entomology, Biological Sciences, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in insect biology.
• Experience in public health programs and pest control.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve mosquito quality issues.
• Execute plans for large-scale mosquito suppression programs.
• Characterize performance of new mosquito strains.
