Job summary

POE TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking an Accounts Executive to handle day-to-day accounting and support year-end tax-related processes, including bank reconciliations, invoicing, payments, and maintaining records.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Accounting and at least two years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Excel and a track record of accuracy and independence in closing tasks.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in handling day-to-day company accounts
• Familiar with basic month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Basic understanding of Singapore tax and statutory filing requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard accounting/office applications
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to manage accounting records accurately
• Able to work independently and follow up on assigned tasks

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping matters
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Process invoices, payments and expense records
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documents for annual audit
• Prepare and organise documents required for tax filing and statutory submissions
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and corporate service providers when required
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned
