Job summary

Sentosa Development Corporation in Singapore is seeking a hands-on staff member to support the Sentosa Express Monorail System’s Operations, Maintenance and Asset Management. You will manage long-term contractors, drive predictive maintenance using data insights, and handle safety-focused upgrades.

Key duties include contract management, life-cycle asset oversight, and liaison with contractors to meet daily train operations, safety audits and zone upkeep.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in management and maintenance of electrical/electronic/mechanical systems.
• Experience in transit or monorail systems is an advantage.
• Familiar with data analytics tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Engage OEMs and term contractors to understand fault causes and prevent incidents.
• Manage life cycle of assets, licensing and regulatory matters for Sentosa Express Monorail.
• Liaise with contractors to satisfy daily train operations requirements.
• Oversee zone maintenance and ensure safety policies are implemented.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and supervise contractors to follow checklists and regulations.
• Assist in procurement activities such as tender specs and variation orders.
• Perform shift duty and handle incidents, including weekends and public holidays.
• Participate in express system overhaul, upgrades, and safety audits.
