Job summary

GenScript Biotech Corporation is seeking a Quality Control professional to perform routine QC testing according to SOPs and document results meticulously. The role involves conducting molecular biology assays, preparing products for release, reviewing data for quality compliance, and supporting production with a collaborative approach.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with on-the-job training provided. You will work in a safe lab environment and participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in molecular biology or related life sciences.
• Fresh graduates welcome; internship or relevant experience acceptable.
• Comprehensive on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing according to SOPs.
• Accurately document testing results and maintain lab records.
• Conduct molecular biology assays (DNA quantification, gel electrophoresis, digestion, endotoxin testing, and other QC analyses).
• Prepare and label products for release following procedures.
• Review results to ensure specifications before release.
• Report quality issues and assist in investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain and clean laboratory equipment and workspace.
• Collaborate with Production and other departments to support manufacturing operations.
• Follow safety requirements and quality management procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other supervisor-assigned tasks.

Education

Bachelor's or Diploma in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or related disciplines
