Job summary

HSBC Bank (Singapore) Limited is seeking a Project Manager, Model Risk and Governance to drive end-to-end delivery of the modelling transformation across Personal, Wholesale, Traded and Market Risk portfolios in Singapore. You will coordinate data readiness, governance forums and regulatory engagements while maintaining rigorous documentation and audit trails.

The role requires proven project management experience in banking, deep understanding of Model Risk Management, and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Proven project management / transformation delivery experience in a bank or regulated financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of Model Risk Management (MRM) and model lifecycle governance.
• Working knowledge of regulatory capital models and associated documentation.
• Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills; able to translate technical content into delivery updates.
• Experience with MAS interactions (briefings, submissions, inspections) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Programme delivery leadership across Personal, Wholesale, Traded and Market Risk modelling workstreams; manage scope, milestones, dependencies and resourcing.
• Model lifecycle coordination: requirements, data readiness, model build/change, validation, governance approvals, implementation and monitoring readiness.
• Governance management: plan and run governance cadence; document decisions and ensure closure; standardise artefacts and reporting to reduce delivery friction.
• Regulatory readiness & MAS engagement support: coordinate readiness plans, narratives and evidence packs with stakeholders.
• Documentation & audit trail quality: ensure deliverables are complete, version-controlled and audit-ready.
• Data readiness & controls tracking: track data sourcing, lineage, quality remediation and sign-offs for model development and use.
