Job summary

TikTok is offering an internship in Singapore with hands-on experience in our messaging team, focused on building and shipping mobile features and tools. You will collaborate with product teams to ideate, develop and deploy new social capabilities for Android platforms.

Qualified candidates are undergraduates in CS/CE/IS with coding skills in C/C++, Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, JavaScript or Python, plus strong problem solving and teamwork abilities. Prior mobile internship is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in coding & scripting languages such as C/C++, Java, Kotlin, Objective‑C, Swift, JavaScript or Python.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine high performance mobile apps that push the limits of mobile technology.
• Work closely with our product team to conceptualize, develop and launch new and innovative social features.
• Design, architect and implement well-tested Android software which powers social experiences in TikTok.
• Carry out code reviews to guarantee code quality.
