Job summary

Google Pay's Client Infrastructure unit seeks a Mid-level Mobile Software Engineer to scale Flutter-based client apps and services for Google Pay in Singapore. You will design core architectures, optimize performance, and contribute to end-to-end developer tooling.

The role requires hands-on mobile development experience (Android/iOS/Flutter), collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to mentor junior engineers as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience with mobile experience (e.g., Android, iOS or Flutter development).

Responsibilities

• Design core application architectures, optimize critical app health metrics, and build secure client infrastructure layers.
• Build and maintain release pipelines, automated testing infrastructure, and developer tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Work with technologies such as Dart, Flutter, Android, iOS, Java/Kotlin, Objective-C/Swift.
