Job summary

Google Pay’s Singapore-based team seeks a Share Mobile Software Engineer to own key features in the Flutter-based Google Pay app, delivering scalable experiences for a growing user base. You will collaborate with PM/UX and cross-functional partners to drive end-to-end product delivery.

The role emphasizes hands-on mobile development with Android, iOS, and Flutter, plus strong emphasis on performance, latency, and code quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience with mobile experience (Android, iOS or Flutter development).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain key surfaces within the Flutter-based Google Pay app, with a focus on feature implementation, performance optimization, UI development and RPC integration.
• Write high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code in Android/iOS, Flutter, Java, Dart.
• Take on opportunities to develop as full-stack engineers by building and owning entire user flows in the app with a focus on business logic, performance and latency.
