Job summary

Google Singapore is seeking software engineers to build and own user flows in the Google Pay app, focusing on performance, latency, and reliability of the stack. You will work on Flutter-based surfaces, UI development, and RPC integration, collaborating across back-end and mobile technologies.

The role requires strong experience with Java, Dart, Flutter, Android/iOS, and a track record of delivering scalable, high-quality software for a global user base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
• 3 years of experience with full stack development, across the back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain key surfaces within the flutter-based Google Pay app, with a focus on performance optimization, User Interface (UI) development and Remote Procedure Call (RPC) integration.
• Build and own entire user flows in the app with a focus on performance, and latency.
• Work on relevant technologies such as Java, Dart, Flutter, Android/iOS, and AI Agent prompting.
