Job summary

AppLovin is seeking mobile engineering interns for Summer 2027 to help build a consumer app from ground up, focusing on content discovery and real-time social interaction. You’ll work directly on production code with the founding team.

You’ll own a defined internship project, participate in code reviews, and tackle performance, media rendering, and UI challenges across iOS and Android. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering with Swift or Kotlin/Java experience.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Swift (iOS) or Kotlin/Java (Android) with UI framework knowledge.
• Solid mobile fundamentals: app lifecycle, memory management, threading, and layout systems.
• Strong problem-solving and user-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build features in iOS or Android apps end-to-end from design to production.
• Own a defined internship project with a clear deliverable and impact on UX.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and cross-functional syncs.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to UI responsiveness, memory usage, or media playback.
• Collaborate with backend and design to implement high-quality features.
