Job summary

Rakuten Viki, a global entertainment streaming platform, seeks undergraduates for a 12-week software engineering internship to work on iOS, Android, and Smart TV apps. You will contribute to a shared Swift codebase, and help automate deployments and tests while learning cutting-edge technologies.

The Apps Engineering Team values curiosity, collaboration, and a passion for building reliable mobile experiences across platforms.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent fields.
• Any prior part-time, internship or personal project experience in software engineering will be a plus.
• Passionate about learning new technologies and solving engineering problems.
• Able to work for at least 12 weeks on a full-time basis, starting ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an iOS and Apple TV app with a shared Swift codebase in a modular approach.
• Contribute to automating deployment to app store and tests on every pull request.
• Improve the Android app and help drive quality across platforms.
