Job summary

Agtiv Media Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Mobile App Development Manager to lead end-to-end development of the GratiData mobile app, coordinating internal and external developers, ensuring timelines, quality, security, and user experience.

You will manage iOS and Android, oversee releases to App Store and Google Play, and collaborate with product, business, and marketing teams to translate requirements into technical priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing mobile app development projects.

• Solid grasp of SDLC, version control, testing, CI/CD, and production releases.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall mobile app development roadmap and day-to-day activities.

Mobile App Development Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mobile App Development Manager to oversee the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our mobile application. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development process end-to-end, coordinating developers and technical resources, ensuring development timelines are met, and maintaining high standards for application performance, reliability, security, and user experience. This is a hands-on management role requiring strong technical understanding as well as the ability to manage developers, priorities, timelines, testing, and releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall mobile app development roadmap and day-to-day development activities.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external developers, including freelancers and development vendors.
• Translate business and product requirements into clear technical tasks, specifications, and development priorities.
• Assign development tasks and monitor progress against agreed milestones and deadlines.
• Review developers' work and ensure code quality, maintainability, security, and technical standards.
• Manage iOS and Android development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Oversee bug identification, prioritisation, resolution, testing, and verification.
• Ensure new features and bug fixes are properly tested before production release.
• Manage app releases and updates, including App Store and Google Play submissions.
• Monitor application performance, crashes, technical issues, APIs, databases, and third‑party integrations.
• Work closely with product, business, marketing, and management teams to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies early and recommend solutions.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation, development records, and release notes.
• Evaluate and manage third‑party SDKs, APIs, analytics tools, advertising integrations, and other technology providers.
• Provide clear and regular progress updates to management, including completed work, outstanding issues, risks, and upcoming priorities.
• Ensure development projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, and budget.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing mobile application development projects.
• Strong understanding of iOS and Android application development.
• Good technical knowledge of mobile architecture, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, SDK integrations, and application security.
• Experience managing developers and/or external development teams.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, version control, testing, CI/CD, and production releases.
• Ability to review technical solutions and challenge development estimates or approaches when necessary.
• Strong project management and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical matters clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a mobile developer, technical lead, engineering manager, or mobile development project manager.
• Experience with cross‑platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
• Experience with cloud platforms and backend services.
• Experience integrating advertising, analytics, authentication, payment, content, or telecommunications‑related APIs/SDKs.
• Experience managing remote or outsourced development teams.
• Experience taking consumer mobile applications from development through production launch and subsequent scaling.
