Job summary

KAITO PTE. LTD. in Singapore is hiring a ML Engineer to develop and productionize ML systems for customer-facing products using KAITO’s algorithms.

You will lead ML system design for recommendation and search ranking, build data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy models end-to-end. The role emphasizes ML excellence, advanced techniques, and clear communication of results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ year of relevant experience in ML engineering or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience with PyTorch and scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of LLMs and NLP techniques.
• Familiarity with full‑stack development using Vue.js, SvelteKit, or similar frameworks.
• Experience in data mining, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Understanding of software development principles and system design.
• Experience with recommendation systems, search ranking, or large-scale ML production systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and productionize ML systems for customer-facing products using KAITO’s algorithms.
• Lead ML system design for recommendation systems and search ranking.
• Drive ML excellence and influence engineering best practices across teams.
• Work on ranking, classification, recommendation, sentiment analysis, and optimization problems.
• Design, develop, and implement ML models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Build and optimize data processing pipelines for structured and unstructured data using LLMs.
• Explore state-of-the‑art ML techniques and develop highly efficient, scalable solutions.
• Implement end-to-end ML solutions, from data preprocessing and experimentation to model deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML capabilities into production systems.
• Communicate and advocate technical solutions to research, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Conduct research and experiments to improve model performance and system efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ML systems and models.
