Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Machine Learning Engineer (MTS) to advance AI/ML for manufacturing. You will train and fine-tune large models, design autonomous AI Agents, and deploy scalable GenAI solutions in a multi-GPU, cloud/on‑prem environment.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers, leveraging LangChain, PyTorch, and modern MLOps to deliver value from manufacturing data and processes.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of GPU architecture and memory hierarchy.
• Experience with distributed data parallel and model parallelism techniques.
• Proficiency with large language models and PEFT (LoRA, QLoRA).
• Experience with GenAI apps and AI Agents using LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen.
• Proficiency in prompt engineering, function calling, and CoT reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute large-scale model training and fine-tuning on multi-node, multi-GPU clusters.
• Optimize training throughput and memory efficiency with distributed strategies and mixed precision.
• Design autonomous AI Agents for multi-step reasoning and tool execution in manufacturing workflows.
• Implement Agentic frameworks to orchestrate LLMs with internal APIs and data tools.
• Profile GPU performance bottlenecks and maximize hardware utilization.
