Job summary

KOH BROTHERS Building & Civil Engineering Contractor (PTE.) LTD. is seeking a responsible driver to safely transport workers and staff around Singapore on a 12-seater minibus, following planned routes and project schedules.

You must hold a Class 3/3A licence with BDVL, have at least 2 years of experience, a clean record, and good English. The role requires punctuality, reliability, and a willingness to perform occasional site errands.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore Class 3/3A Driving Licence and BDVL.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience, preferably for workers or staff transport.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 2 years.
• Familiar with Singapore road routes and LTA rules.
• Physically fit and able to communicate in basic English.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 12-seater minibus on planned routes and ad-hoc trips.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean.
• Comply with LTA rules and site safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate travel logs and transport documents.
• Assist in minor site errands and join safety briefings as needed.

Job description

Job Purpose:

To safely transport workers, staff, Others (site officers) and materials to and from designated locations in a timely and professional manner, in full compliance with Singapore LTA regulations and workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Operations:

• Safely operate a 12-seater minibus on pre-planned routes and ad-hoc trips.
• Ensure punctual pickup and drop-off of workers, staff, or materials.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and project schedules.

2. Vehicle Maintenance & Reporting:

• Conduct daily basic vehicle checks (fuel, brakes, tires, lights, wipers, etc.).
• Keep vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Report any faults, damages, or irregularities to the supervisor immediately. Inclusive of liaise with workshop/ supply with approval from supervisor.

3. Compliance & Safety:

• Comply with all Land Transport Authority (LTA) rules and regulations.
• Ensure passengers wear seat belts and follow onboard safety instructions.
• Follow safe driving practices especially at construction sites or congested areas.

4. Documentation & Logs:

• Maintain accurate daily travel logs (mileage, destination, timings).
• Ensure all transportation-related documents (driver's license, vehicle inspection
• certificates, etc.) are valid and up-to-date.

5. Ad-Hoc Duties:

• Assist in minor site errands when not driving.
• Participate in safety briefings when required.
• Be available for overtime assignments when site progress requires.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Singapore Class 3/3A Driving License + Bus Driver's Vocational Licence (BDVL)
• Minimum 2 years driving experience, preferably in worker or staff transport
• Clean Driving Record. No major traffic violations in the past 2 years
• Familiarity with Singapore road routes and LTA rules
• Compliance with LTA vehicle licensing
• Vehicle must be inspected and certified roadworthy under LTA inspection regime
• Physically fit and alert
• Able to speak and understand basic English
• Good interpersonal skills and good attitude
