Job summary

GLOBAL ROAD MACHINERY & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a responsible bus driver to transport employees on assigned routes in Singapore.

This role requires safe driving, adherence to schedules, and daily vehicle inspections. You will report defects and incidents to your supervisor and ensure compliance with safety rules. Applicants should have a Singapore driving licence, good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations, and strong communication and punctuality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the company bus and transport employees/workers according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off while maintaining high standards of passenger safety and service.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the bus is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
• Promptly report vehicle defects, accidents, breakdowns, traffic violations, and other incidents to the supervisor.
• Ensure passengers comply with company safety and transportation rules.
• Maintain good attendance, punctuality, and compliance with assigned working schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel, inspections, and maintenance as required.
• Comply with Singapore traffic laws, Workplace Safety and Health requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain a valid driving licence and all required licences or authorisations.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and operations personnel to ensure smooth transportation operations.
• Perform other transportation-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirement

• Good driving, vehicle-handling, and time-management skills.
• Responsible, punctual, safety-conscious, and physically fit.
• Able to communicate effectively with supervisors.
• Able to handle emergencies calmly and responsibly.
