Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a diligent Analyst in the Credit Middle Office to support risk governance, controls, and regulatory compliance for private banking clients globally.

You will monitor, review, and enhance control frameworks, partner with stakeholders, and drive operational excellence in credit operations. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of related experience, with strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in Credit Risk or Lending in a financial institution.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze complex financials using qualitative and quantitative tools.
• Strong presentation and communication skills (written/verbal).
• High attention to detail with good time management.
• Team-oriented, capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Interest in financial markets and understanding of risk measures.
• Basic knowledge of AI and Large Language Models.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and own improvements to enhance controls and mitigate risk.
• Coordinate audits and RFIs with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ensure governance on business operational risks, issue tracking and escalations.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for credit operations.
• Oversee governance of credit legal documentation with internal/external counsel.
• Explore automation opportunities using tools like Alteryx, Python, Unqork and UiPath.
